Kalipunang Makalaya is open for submissions!
Τhe cause for democratic governance closer to the masses in the Philippines goes a long way back since its Spanish colonial era. Though much of the predominant previous and existing initiatives have been Statist in character, there exists a necessity for an anti-statist, progressive, and left-libertarian alternative such as Kalipunang Makalaya‘s Demokratikong Barangayan, and its anti-authoritarian, Democratic Self-Defense framework known as Tangkakal Demokrasya.
With the advent of human-induced rapid climate change and the commencement of the Anthropocenic geological epoch, our destructive relationship with our planet’s geology and ecosystems is also a consequence to how mainstream social relationships rooted on hierarchical domination work as argued by philosopher Murray Bookchin. Thus, a social reconstruction along ecological lines has also been deemed a necessity through Social Ecology. Kalipunang Makalaya is also championing this socio-ecological philosophy on local Filipino civic spaces.
As such, Kalipunang Makalaya is inviting you to submit insights, perspectives or any niche sharings on this platform! Tangkakal Institute is welcoming submissions, especially academic and opinion editorial for publishing while Malayang Lansakan opens its corner for any announcements, press releases, news, and updates on your communities and allied social actions! Written and Media submissions are very welcomed on any of our platform’s corners which can be in English, Spanish or any indigenous language in the Philippines.
Submissions must be allied or related to democratic studies, environmentalism, left-libertarianism, communalism, democratic confederalism, libertarian municipalism, autonomy, and social ecology.
Media, and manuscripts (with your pen name, if applicable) can be sent as a message on any of our Social Media Pages:
